The uncertainty of recent weeks has clarified what is most important—the well-being and safety of our families, colleagues and communities. While we continue to encounter, and try to adapt to, the many ways that the novel coronavirus will affect all of us, your health and safety—and that of your loved ones—are top of mind for us.
We have already implemented many strategies to minimize risk while remaining fully operational to support the needs of our subscribers. We are continuing to onboard new practices that are seeking to upgrade their EMR and better facilitate the ability to service their patients and generate revenue by treating remotely. As we rolled out our TeleHealth offering within our Owned & Operated clinics earlier this week, we are also providing tips and resources on how you can prevent the harsh impact that COVID-19 is having on all of our businesses through TeleHealth and our OptimumME app.
As a company, we have taken the following additional steps over the course of this situation:
- Facilitated the ability of our employees to work remotely while limiting in-office personnel to allow for social distancing
- Established visitor/patient guidelines to protect the health and well-being of everyone in our practices and clinics
- Enhanced cleaning protocols across all clinics and administrative offices
- Implemented self-isolation requirements in the event of ill or potentially exposed employees
